Located in the Arena and financial quarters, the two networked apartment buildings, managed and owned by the Yorkshire-based YPP Group and refurbished by The Broadley Group, offer residents high specification accommodation with secure on-site parking, high speed internet, robust enterprise wifi, HD TV and on-site security.
The former office blocks have been fully refurbished as carbon-friendly projects that used the existing structures of the buildings to provide the luxury city centre accommodation, preserving the original building fabric.
The Dynamic Networks team has completed the installation of a full data cabling infrastructure and fibre backbone throughout the two apartment complexes, door entry systems plus internal and external IP video surveillance in communal areas. A wireless mesh network connects users throughout the buildings, giving residents strong and reliable wifi coverage across both sites.
Managing director James Baird says, “The building technology we chose for this project doesn’t just need to be fit for purpose now, it has to be scalable to allow for future security and IP technology upgrades, such as the creation of a centrally managed virtual concierge and messaging services. Futureproofing schemes for our customers is a big part of what we do, and the systems we have installed here use the latest technology, as well as allowing further functionality to be added in line with the developer’s future plans.”
Richard Pickles, Construction Director at The Broadley Group, says, “Working with Dynamic Networks has been a pleasure. Their professionalism and attention to detail has ensured that we, as a group, have delivered a building that functions as the client has requested.”
Dynamic Networks Group is due to begin several similar projects throughout the Yorkshire region in the coming months, building on the success of the Q One and Q Two projects.
