CCTV/Security Engineer job opportunity
We're looking for a CCTV & Security engineer to join our fast-growing team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work within project teams with responsibility for delivering high quality netowrks and security installations to our customers. The role involves installation, servicing and solution support expertise to customers in relation to all networking and electrical based security solutions.

- CCTV installation
- Access control systems installation
- Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre Optic & TV IRS installation
- Comelit & Paxton access control systems
- Commissioning solutions
- Running system and application diagnostics
- Generating issue and feedback requests
- Working as a team and with third parties
- Creating sign offs
What’s essential?
- 3 years + relevant experience as an installer of low voltage logical electronics based systems including significant and solid CCTV and door access installation experience
- Understanding of basic networking topology and data communication principles including Cat5e and Cat6 cabling
- Experience with diagnostic software
- A full UK driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills when liaising with colleagues and customers and be self-motivated with a positive and enthusiastic personality
- Professional appearance required along with excellent work ethic (timekeeping, attendance and attitude)
What’s desirable?
- Experience in Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre Optic, TV IRS Installations
- A wide knowledge of Comelit & Paxton systems
- Willing to travel throughout the week across the UK when necessary
