IT Solutions Architect

Type: Permanent Position
Salary: £50,000-£65,000, experience dependant

What's involved?

  • Deliver the appropriate technology solutions in a variety of technology areas
  • Match the business requirements to the technology, shaping appropriate solutions across multiple systems and where necessary and appropriate personally delivering solutions
  • Investigate business issues and technology problems, providing innovative solutions
  • Ensure various applications and systems perform to user expectations and are continuously improved and maintained
  • Provides expert advice and consultation on the development and implementation of effective group IT solutions
  • Obtain guidance and approval as required to advance activities and resolve issues
  • Work with third party suppliers and products, as well as in-country IT teams to identify and deliver appropriate technologies and solutions
  • Engages actively in business development activities to maintain holistic view of portfolio of changes in order to stay current with most effective solutions to address them

Experience requirements

  • All phases of the project lifecycle
  • IT industry and ways of working
  • Delivery of complex IT system integrations in a multi-national environment
  • Financial services IT solutions
  • Customer and product master data domain
  • Relational database and NoSQL database structures and functional strengths
  • Data integration technologies and processes
  • Data modelling and mapping techniques
  • Data quality and cleansing processes
  • Working knowledge of Change Management processes and Project Management methodologies
  • On-premise and cloud based solutions
  • In-depth experience Microsoft SQL Server 2012, or later

Desirable

  • Programme experience and quality gate based approval processes
  • Data modelling and system interface mapping
  • Data and analytics technologies
  • Demonstrable Data Warehouse, Data Integration project involvements working with Microsoft SQL Server technologies
  • Demonstrable experience with Data Integration patterns
