5 reasons to adopt advanced email threat protection

It isn’t difficult to believe that in 2016, spam emails accounted for almost 60% of all email traffic across the globe.
5 reasons to adopt advanced email threat protection
Spam emails cost businesses over £575 per employee every year due to wasted bandwidth, reduced productivity, lost customers and maintenance costs. Businesses should do everything they can to protect employees from junk mail, making spam filtering an important service for a company of any size.

At Dynamic, we offer Advanced Email Threat Protection (ATP), but what are the benefits?

  1.        Protection from targeted attacks
Our ATP shields you from targeted attacks such as CEO fraud, phishing and whaling.
Conventional methods make it very difficult to detect these attacks, but our ATP uses innovative forensic technology to prevent the malicious emails from reaching you. Internal communications are also examined to detect identity spoofing.

  1.        Protection from ransomware attacks
Protect your company from the increasing threat of ransomware attacks. Typical software is not always able to detect new ransomware variants, but our ATP intelligently analyses the behaviour of attachments by opening them in a safe environment. If the attachment contain malware, the email will be filtered out and you will be notified.

  1.        Real-time alerts of attempts at digital espionage
Digital espionage (cyber spying) and data theft are increasing threats to sensitive data. Our ATP uses forensic engines to identify both familiar and new data extraction attempts. This includes metadata and content analysis, spoofing recognition and key-information seeking attempts. We will then alert you in real time, before critical data has left your network, helping you stay GDPR compliant.

  1.        Protection against blended attacks
A blended attack utilises multiple different angles of attack to avoid detection. For example, an email including an attachment with a hidden link to a downloadable page which contains malware. Most standard spam filters will be unable to detect this multi-layer pattern of malware. Our ATP uses URL target scanning, download sandboxing as well as filtering web calls with URL rewriting to prevent these attacks from taking effect.

  1.        Full detail notification reports
Our real time alert notifies you of attacks to your business, allowing you to mobilise internal measures and responses promptly. Ex post reporting (coming soon) lets you know if an already delivered email is later determined to be potentially harmful, including an analysis of the possible extent and countermeasures.
