In the spotlight - Billy Bingham
In a few sentences, summarise your role

I work closely with the CEO and Contracts Director with several brand penetrating tasks as we look to propel Dynamic M&E forward as one of the leading M&E contractors in the Yorkshire region. I develop new relationships with leading main contractors through effective business development and strategic key account management

What does a typical day look like for you at work?

I don’t think we have a typical day working for Dynamic M&E. The business has gathered significant pace in the time I have been here. We are constantly evolving and trying to find better ways of working to make our clients lives easier, so no two days are ever the same and I think that’s a big attraction.

What’s the best thing about working at Dynamic?

For me it’s the environment and team of people I work with. Everyday you’re encouraged to be better than you were the day before. The business has such a connected family feel to it and we are all prepared to go that extra mile not just for our clients but for each other as well. When you add the vision of the board to that collective mix, all of sudden that business starts to look pretty special and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all.

What is the most difficult challenge you have been faced with in your career?

I’ve had several challenges over the years and have had to be incredibly resilient as a result. I was made redundant from my last role and it was the first time I’ve ever experienced anything like that in my career and it knocked me for six. Thankfully, that’s now in the past and I can focus on going my all for James, Mark, Gareth and the board.

What’s your favourite project you have worked on?

I’m a big football fan so having the opportunity to work on Tottenham Hotspurs new stadium was fantastic, but I’d also say the Olympic Village was pretty special too.

What would you say to anyone who was considering applying for a job at Dynamic?

Get on with it and do it. We are fortunate that in the UK there are some fantastic businesses. However, if you want be part of an exciting journey and feel valued every day then for me there is no better place than Dynamic.

How do you like to recharge or take a break?

My life is a busy one to say the least and I spend many hours travelling to Manchester to take my son football training, so I don’t often get a lot of downtime. When I do get the odd day here and there, I love watching football and taking my boys fishing and spending quality time with my wife, family and friends.
