What does a typical day look like for you at work?
Meetings with Project Managers/on site Engineers and Engineer diary/materials management for ongoing and upcoming projects. Tracking job progress against expected schedule. Assisting with any technical queries that arise on site. Meetings with customers Providing quotes for colleagues and customers. Making sure we have up to date RAMS. Lots of small bits to make sure everything runs as smooth as possible.

What is the most difficult challenge you have been faced with in your career?
Transitioning from engineer to manager. It was a steep learning curve which wasn’t easy but definitely worth doing. This was one of the reasons I joined Dynamic as they like to train within the company and allow you to rise through the ranks.
What would you say to anyone who was considering applying for a job at Dynamic?
Go for it. If you are willing to put in the hard work you will be rewarded.
What’s your favourite project you have worked on and why?
I Don’t really have a favourite project. Now that I am not the one installing I gives me great satisfaction when engineers that myself and others at Dynamic have trained complete a project.
How do you like to recharge or take a break?
I like to go on a bike rides with my family and also like to play Golf with my friends. Eating out and beer gardens when allowed.

Dynamic Insights & advice

Dynamic Networks completes a Management Buyout and commences its acquisition strategy.

"David Smith (CEO) and Gareth Leece (COO) have successfully completed an MBO of Dynamic Networks, working with Paul Landsman of Kingland Capital. The MBO provides for a simplification of the Board structure to allow for its continued accelerated growth strategy. The additional investment secured through Kingland Capital provides a significant fund for the Management Team to hire likeminded industry professionals in-line with its hiring plan and also acquire complimentary Cloud Managed Service Providers as they continue their objective to be one of the fastest growing MSP’s in the UK with a strong reputation for quality service. Further announcements to follow."
