Dynamic Networks Group Continues Its Expansion
Dynamic Networks Group continues its expansion with the acquisition of Peak Support Services Ltd, a Derbyshire based Cloud MSP.
Dynamic Networks completes a Management Buyout and commences its acquisition strategy.
David Smith (CEO) and Gareth Leece (COO) have successfully completed an MBO of Dynamic Networks, working with Paul Landsman of Kingland Capital. The MBO provides for a simplification of the Board structure to allow for its continued accelerated growth strategy. The additional investment secured through Kingland Capital provides a significant fund for the Management Team to hire likeminded industry professionals in-line with its hiring plan and also acquire complimentary Cloud Managed Service Providers as they continue their objective to be one of the fastest growing MSP’s in the UK with a strong reputation for quality service. Further announcements to follow.

Roomzzz Manchester Corn Exchange
Delivering a luxury city centre Aparthotel
Corn Exchange, Manchester, was renovated in 2014 to feature a variety of restaurants within a stunning Grade II listed setting. Last year, Room
Aparthotels announced plans to create 114 apartments in a variety of shapes and sizes, across all four floors of the unique triangular site.
The rooms - which all have their own quirky shapes due to the listed building status - boast spectacular high ceilings, with some offering views over the Cathedral and Exchange Square. Each apartment contains king size beds, living areas, ensuites, free laundry, access to the on-site gym, and even a fully equipped kitchen.
is not a hotel, it’s not a flat, it’s smack bang in the middle. Think a hotel without the boxy rooms. In a nutshell, spacious city centre Aparthotels designed to make you feel at home – with plenty of room to be yourself.
Part of property investment company The Parklane Group, Room
currently operates in eight locations across the UK, including London and Leeds, with Dynamic Networks as its preferred technology and network infrastructure partner.
The Dynamic solution
Because of the building’s Grade II listing, a great deal of care needed to be taken and approval sought for all plans to ensure no damage occurred and alterations were sensitively carried out.
We provided a 10 GB network switching infrastructure, connecting everything to an OM4 fibre backbone to deliver high data speeds. This topology was designed with speed and resilience at the forefront. To further increase network performance, we installed satellite communications cabinets on some floors, which we linked with an 8-core fibre backbone designed for high data speeds.
We also provided terrestrial Freeview TV distribution throughout the hotel, and supplied and installed TV units ranging from 43” to 55” screens in each room.
To ensure that the wireless coverage for the whole hotel would be robust, we installed a number of access points to ensure full coverage. We also used a state of the art Ekahau heat mapping survey to create a virtual map of the site and simulate the impact of different
access point locations. This enabled us to achieve maximum coverage with minimal access points throughout the building, providing the client with a cost-effective solution.
We also installed a wireless
throughout the site, providing full coverage to all areas of the hotel. The system can be remotely monitored and managed across a range of devices, with scope to integrate cameras with other products – such as
door entry systems
– to create a sophisticated access and security solution.
In the long term, we will be providing ongoing support for the Room
Manchester Corn Exchange, as we do already for other Room
locations, as well as a number of The Parklane Group businesses. This will include
, as well as proactive support for the services we provided during the renovations.
Opening on schedule in February 2018, the launch of Room
Manchester Corn Exchange unveiled listed parts of the building unseen by the public for almost 20 years and marked the completion of a three-year renovation project for the Corn Exchange.
Abhijit David, implementation manager at The Parklane Group, said: “Throughout the process I always felt updated on progress and potential problems anticipated. This allowed us to take necessary steps to avoid delays or to make necessary corrections to the plan. Dynamic Networks were also very flexible to the many changes we had to put in place as we went along.
“Handover has been smooth; we have always received prompt support post-handover and I have never noticed a time when Dynamic has passed responsibility to someone else. I have also received some comments on our installation to make changes for our next projects to save on unnecessary costs. Usually it’s in the contractor’s interest to ignore this. I think this level of transparency is really what sets Dynamic apart.
“The Dynamic site team was always available, ready to find solutions not problems, and I have no hesitation in recommending Dynamic for all IT installations, services and support.”
